Each summer, Capitol School of Austin offers fun and enriching speech therapy-based summer learning experiences that we call 'Summer Camp' for children identified as having speech, language, or learning differences.
This summer, we are offering a 4-week summer enrichment program for children ages 2 years old through 3rd grade. Because of high demand for camp enrollment, part-time spots are not available.
Each camp group is led by a speech-language pathologist or special educator using a group therapy-based, multi-sensory approach. Typically-developing students may also enroll to enjoy our program while providing a language model for classroom peers. Students are placed in camp groups by our admissions committee based on each student's language ability, academic level, social skills and age.
The camp theme this year is 'Finding Your Best Self'. Language, social, and academic skills will be taught through this aquatic and skill-building theme.
Camp Dates: June 5 - June 30, 2017
