Capitol School is closely monitoring the situation and will be updating procedures here soon.
The Children’s Clinic at Capitol School of Austin offers evaluation and therapy services for children with developmental differences. Many families who are just becoming aware that their child might have developmental difficulties struggle to find a place to begin the diagnostic process. Further, they find it challenging to identify a clear path to follow after that process has begun. The Children’s Clinic is a community resource where you can begin the process and we will help you find the recommended services.

Developmental differences are likely to have an effect on your child’s social skills, behavior and academic success. The earlier a child’s developmental difficulties are identified and treated, the less likely it is that those problems persist or worsen. A comprehensive evaluation is the first step to remediating such problems.
Early intervention can help children be more successful with peer relationships, managing their behavior and overall communication, as well as, reading, writing and other academic tasks.
